We find ourselves in several places at the same time. We deposit parts of our identity in the network. The more we link in and fragment, the more the question of who we actually are arises. If you can be everywhere, you may be nowhere. If we can seemingly be everything, we may also have only a vanishingly small original identity. So what makes us a person, a me?

 

The dance solo FLUGZEICHEN - FLYSPOR (Flight Signs) explores the question of identity. What does it mean nowadays to be in tune with one’s environment … in tune with the recycling center, with a plastic bottle … with the sky, with the smoke soaring to the sky, with my favorite music … The body merges with the elements, it looks for identity in exchange with the things that surround it. The person moves away from the usual societal roles. Exploring the body as space, as air, as an animal, as rhythm …
